How to Make Granola

This is an easy granola recipe that anyone can do. Choose the ingredients and flavors you like, it’s a very versatile recipe :)

Ingredients:
4 cups of old fashioned oats
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 cup dried currants or raisins
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup pumpkin seeds
3 Tablespoons coconut oil
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Lots of cinnamon (to your liking)

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees(f)

2. Add a piece of foil in the bottom of a 9×13 baking pan

3. Combine maple syrup and coconut oil in a saucepan over medium heat just until it melts together

4. In a mixing bowl add the oats, sunflower seeds, and cinnamon

5. Add the coconut oil and syrup mixture to the oats mixture and stir well until coated

6. Add the mixture to the prepared pan and spread evenly

7. Bake in oven for 20 minutes, checking halfway through and stirring

8. Remove from oven and let the mixture cool on a sheet

9. Add in pumpkin seeds, coconut, and currants

10. Once the granola is completely cooled, store in a glass jar (glass keeps the granola crunchy)

This granola can be kept in the pantry for up to three weeks.
