Hair products.
I think most could agree that there are way too many out there and it is sometimes overwhelming just going to buy shampoo. Hopefully by this point in this segment you know your hair type and have a general idea of what products should work for your hair. If you don’t, feel free to go back to one of the posts from the first week of my Month of Healthy Hair to get to know your own hair a little better. For me, I have figured out that I have fine, wavy hair that tends to be on the dry side and is not very dense. When it comes to styling your hair, you want the right product for your type, but you also want it to do a particular thing. So the formula for finding the right hair products for you should include your hair type + the style you are going for. This could mean different products for different styles that you like doing. For example, for someone who wants volume and taking into consideration thier hair type, they may want to try a root lifting mousse (for finer hair) or a gel (for thicker hair).
I have found a few products that work really well on my hair just from trial and error. Maybe they can work for you as well but just remember that your hair will like certain products and not like others. So here’s to finding that perfect hair product!
