It’s every girl’s nightmare. You needed to leave the house 10 minutes ago and you can’t find those stud earrings you got from that cute boutique downtown. Panic sets in and before you know it, your bedroom has blown up in a whirlwind of clothes, overturned laundry hampers, and pillow feathers. You MUST wear these earrings! Jewelry organization is a must when it comes to these moments that happen more often than not if we’re honest. And, ok, maybe my little DIY jewelry stand won’t help you get out the door any earlier (have we forgot about makeup??) but maybe, it can at least keep those little stud babies in plain sight long enough for you to run a comb through your hair. Every minute counts right??
SO! I have been wanting to make this little jewelry stand for quite some time now (mainly, I just wanted to go thrift store shopping) and I finally got around to it and I am so pleased with the results! I decided to go mis-matchy and got three different plates from the thrift store. I also already had most of the other materials at home but here’s what I used all together:
3 different sized plates(thrifted), 3 white egg cups ( I had these at home), glue (mine is called “PYTHON GLUE” make sure it bonds ceramic, or whatever you are using), q-tips and acetone (for cleaning excess residue)
I think that this would make a great gift as well! Also, what about a cake or treat stand??
I made a video of the process!
