Week 37 Bump Shots

I’m full term!! I made it! I couldn’t be more excited to have this baby but I am also just really relieved that he has stayed in there all this time! There were definitely moments when I thought I had overdone it and that I could have caused early labor but thankfully, that didn’t happen. This was a great week. I felt pretty good and just really excited all week because I just can’t wait to see him and hold him. Other than my extreme hip pain this week (probably from walking too long while in pain), this week was not too full of other symptoms. I finally broke out my heating pad though for my hips because they just get so stiff while I’m sitting that when I go to get up and walk around, I often stumble and have to go really slow. The heat seems to be helping, at least to the point where they aren’t so stiff in the mornings when I use it.

We got our glider in last week actually and I have been using that because it’s more comfortable right now than my couch! I finally found one that wasn’t $800, and it’s nice! I think it’ll do the job and it’s actually comfy. We chose the Babyletto Madison Swivel Glider. It was on amazon and came in just a couple days already assembled. Complete win! It’s really soft and not an eyesore so I think we will be really happy with it.

Anyway, here are bump pics from this week!

I made it to my baby shower! With just one week away from my due date, it was a close call but I made it and guess what…still pregnant a week later! I’m just so relieved because here I am at just about 40 weeks and he is hanging in there until my mama gets... Continue reading

This week has definitely felt like “woah, I could have this baby at any moment.” Mainly, because my doctor said that I’m 1 cm dilated which, I know, doesn’t really mean much but to me it does mean that things are progressing. Especially since there was absolutely nothing last week. After I realized that, I... Continue reading

What's in my hospital bag.001

Hallelujah! I have finally packed my bag for the hospital! I don’t know why, but it took me forever to get everything in there. I did buy a couple of things so maybe that’s why. Anyhoo, here is the list of things I am going to be bringing with me for the big labor day!... Continue reading

  • Veselina

    Hey!
I know you have been quite some time ago in this situation, but I am now!! And have been amazed to read your statements on the nausea, because I also find the same general information that you have found, e.g. morning sickness and diziness, but never as what I experience – a whole day long comings and goings..
Excuse me so much, I did not present myself! My name is Veselina Pekala! I would love to contact you, as I am a mother-to-be in abroad and I actually know noone here, since we moved 3 months ago! I find great deal of similarities between you and me and I am so happy I found you! Looking at your videos and pictures, not only about pregnancy, but all the essence of your simple and gorgeous website, makes me experience some kind of calmness, so.. I know it is late for my nausea-compation, but you have it and I also wanted to add thank you! Just for this thiny web-space of calmness, colour and sunlight :)))))
    Saludos!
