It’s the most perfect day. The sun is shining and there is nothing more than a very gentle sway in the wind. There are cherry blossom trees blooming here already and the sky is one perfect shade of Spring. We are going to meet our baby today. Some say that the first meeting is when you give birth, but I say that it’s when you can see a face. It’s just on the ultrasound’s computer monitor, but it’s a face. And it’s ours. We made a little human. It’s still kind of crazy to think about. I really wasn’t prepared to see such a clear picture of our baby’s face but technology has come a long way and we can actually see it. I can finally say “he”. It feels good. Our little prince is growing and moving just as he should and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m thrown into a whirlwind of emotions: relief, love, joy, gratitude are the few that describe how I feel now. I feel like I have met him now and knowing changes everything…
