Breakfast Granola

Breakfast doesn’t have to be pancakes and bacon. Although delicious, starting out the day with grains, healthy fats, and natural sugar are a better choice to kickstart the day. This easy and fast recipe is a sure way to get the energy that you need first thing in the morning. You can even prepare it the night ahead in a tupperware container and grab it on your way out the door. Choose any fruits you like, in an assortment of colors. These are just my favorite.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Plain Yogurt (Whole milk)
  • Handful Blueberries
  • 1/3 Cup sliced Strawberries
  • 1 Chopped Gala apple
  • 1/4 Cup Bare Naked Banana Granola
  • Honey, sparingly
  • Walnuts (optional)
1. Cut all fruits in bite-sized pieces.
2. Layer the yogurt, fruit, and granola.
3. Drizzle some honey and sprinkle nuts on top if using.

Hey Hey! So I want to talk about something near and dear to my heart stomach.  FOOD. I love food. Re-phrase: I love good food. Food that makes me feel good and food that makes me happy. Don’t we all! It’s kind of like being on a rainbow while dropping spoonfuls of creamy, cheesy clouds into your mouth. The fresh sweet peas really make this dish stand out... Continue reading

We are all familiar with mayo. We know it’s unhealthy and grocery store brands are packed with some pretty gross ingredients including corn syrup and hydrogenated oils. In fact, homemade mayo only contains a few ingredients so why add all those nasty things? Oh wait, shelf life. We need products to last for 8 years... Continue reading

If you don’t own a kettle bell, I would highly recommend getting one…or three. I got mine from Amazon. You can get the same set here. I never cease to be amazed at how many muscle groups you can target with these babies. Kettle bell swings are probably my most favorite exercise. It’s fun and you will definitely... Continue reading

I absolutely love stripes. I don’t know when the fascination started, but I have a closet full of stripes in every direction. I love the shade of this blue contrasted with the pop of yellow on the collar. And, of course, I must have my gold bracelets. Accessories are my favorite! I have a pretty bold shoe...
